So this is what I like for a quick brunch before getting a good workout….
Couscous with peas, asparagus, sweet onion and 1 turkey sausage link. Saute asparagus and onion in 1 tsp of butter, once that softens add turkey sausage link (or you can have no meat which is how I prefer it) than 1 cup of chicken broth 1/2 cup of water add in 1 cup of couscous and let that steam through- fluff up with a fork.
Side snack- add cut up strawberries, 2 tablespoons of Greek-yogurt- I like vanilla flavor but for a healthier option use plain yogurt just add honey for sweetness. 2 Tablespoons of Granola- sprouts carries such a good variety- with pumpkins seeds and you can buy flax seeds to add to it as well.
